Used BMW 7 Series

The used BMW 7 Series is seen by many as the luxury flagship of the BMW range. At the same time, quite surprisingly, many people find it easy to overlook it or forget it exists. This could be connected with the fact that the 7 Series has to contend with a lot of opposition both outside and within. Its external competitors are such excellent cars as the Mercedes S or Lexus. Internally the BMW 7 must still prove it is better in many respects than its predecessor – the 5 Series. The car can be described as possessing sleeker styling which set the trend for big executive cars. The first cars which appeared in 1994 were powered by 3.0 litre and 4.0 litre V8 engines capable of delivering a horsepower of 218 and 286 respectively. And how about the way the car looks? Well, it is beautifully built and well equipped, but everything comes at a price. The interior presents high standard for passengers with leather seats, which have electric memory adjustment, a satellite navigation system, a six-speaker stereo and a climate control windscreen reducing the cabin temperatures by up to 10 degrees Celsius. The safety equipment consists of many systems facilitating the driving and protecting all people on board. One will find an intelligent traction system, ABS, a tyre pressure control system and a cylindrical air bag. This new type of air bag is intended to protect the head in an impact and it works in conjunction with driver and passenger and side airbags providing comprehensive protection to bodies. On the road the BMW 7 Series can be perceived as a sort of sports vehicle. Unlike typical sports cars, the used 7 Series provides very high comfort for travelling. Similarly to any sports car, the 7 is able to sprint to 60 mph within some 7 seconds. In conclusion, the BMW 7 Series may not be the cheapest option available in this car segment of the market. Yet, thanks to its high reliability and quality it is seen as a very good used buy and appreciated by both drivers and, what is even more surprising, car dealers.
