Used Nissan Serena

The Nissan Serena was launched in 1992 as the answer for the plea of the thousands for the creation of a compact yet spacious vehicle that can accommodate up to seven people. A compact yet spacious vehicle you say? That has got to be wrong! On the contrary, a lot of people took interest when the Serena was rolled off the welcome trailer. Finally, there is sufficient space to fit in a small group of Squirrel Scouts, including a lot of luggage and equipment. The Serena has a short wheelbase and a narrow profile. Thus, despite the claims of the manufacturer that the car can accommodate up to seven persons, it is still going to be a “snug” experience riding in a fully-loaded Serena. Observing the car, you suddenly realize that you are not looking at a sedan. Instead, you are looking at a minivan. However, it is a lot smaller than the usual vans in town and it has a 2.0-liter engine pushing out 96 KW of power. Also, customizations and upgrades may tend to be more harmful than good. When the Serena became fully loaded, the engine had to be pushed even harder, which has the possibility of causing the vehicle to stall. The added weight of the passengers and the contents of the trunk makes the rate of acceleration last longer than usual. Still, even with a 2.0-engine and a four-speed transmission system, things for the used Nissan Serena eventually got worse. There is also a five-speed manual version available. However, when flooring the gas pedal on a long stretch of straight road, the faults of the Serena start emerging. Although the vehicle generally drives smoothly and noiselessly, pushing the engine to its limits will make a harsh and annoying tone. The rumbling of the engine can almost be heard and felt when going at very high speeds. Although being quite annoying at times, everything is forgiven when the Serena proves to be a very sophisticated and enjoyable vehicle to ride in. Handling of the Serena is variable. It has a direct relationship to how much was loaded into it. However, it was more enjoyable when there were no passengers. It became more stable as passengers started loading up. However, as the minivan became more and more crowded, performance levels drop drastically. With a wide array of electronic equipment, such as power windows, power roofs, and air conditioning, nothing about the Serena seems to be within the purview of a technologically unacceptable vehicle. The presence of front and side airbags, roll bars, and an electric sunroof makes it a more pleasurable and safe ride on the market today.
